According to a news release from Caesars Entertainment, the gambler who requested anonymity won $1.3 million after capturing the progressive jackpot win with a royal flush of hearts at Harrah’s Las Vegas.
The man and his family were given a bottle of champagne by Harrah’s officials while the jackpot win was being processed, according to the statement.
All casino resorts in the state were authorized to open without any limitations due to the coronavirus on Tuesday.
“The Harrah’s Las Vegas gaming floor was alive and well this afternoon,” the resort’s general manager, Dan Walsh, said in a statement. “For our city, our winning guest, and the entire team at our Harrah’s resort, it was an incredible day.
