A 20-Card Keno System using Balanced Overlapping

20-Card-GumroadThe attraction of playing 20-Card Keno is having more opportunities to win. Picking more numbers in a single game gives you a better chance of winning something.  As an example, if you’re playing 20 different cards, with  a different 5 spot on each card, you have a better chance of hitting a 5 spot than if you were only playing on one card, right? But even if you hit your 5 spot on one of the cards, how about the 19 cards that are losers or low pay winners? And remember, even though you’re playing 20 cards, you’ll, more often than not, lose or low pay on all 20 cards.

To be fair, you need the low paying winners to help you keep playing for a longer period of time. But the low paying wins alone will not normally let you leave the casino as a winner. They just allow you to keep putting more money into the machine. Especially if you’re playing 20 Card Keno. That’s where the idea of ‘overlapping’ can really help. And that’s why I created the 20-Card Keno Smart Charts™.

When you overlap, some of the numbers of a particular spot will be repeated on the other cards. The result will be that when you win – you’ll win bigger. That’s because, when you win, you’ll win more often on multiple cards. Even the low wins will be multiplied by the amount of cards that the repeated numbers are played on.  This technique makes for some exciting action when you’re playing 20 card keno but, admittedly, you’ll experience increased volatility. The trade off is that when you do win – you can really win big.

Look at it this way; If you play completely different numbers on each card on a 20-card keno machine, you have virtually no chance of winning a jackpot on all 20 cards.  But if you play less numbers with some of the numbers overlapping each other, you could actually win on all twenty cards! And yes, that really does happen.

The following 20-card keno video illustrates this better

What’s particularly important when overlapping in 20-card keno is evenly distributing your numbers. You’ll want to have a balance of unique base numbers and those that you overlap. The Smart Charts™ allow you to easily do that without making errors.

  1. Hi,
How can I get my hands on the 20 card keno smart charts. I have been playing for years but have grown bored…your charts and system sounds interesting. Thanks.

  2. I have been trying to post? am I blocked? just making sure before I may purchase that I am able to chat? was hoping for free 7 spot chart? have been avid follower of your you tube and web page

    regards

    • You are not blocked Julie. There is a sudden glitch with the comments sections and I am not being notified. Thank you for commenting on the YouTube channel and letting me know about the issue.

  3. well our casino here in Mesquite is HORRIBLE lately. Played 8 machines!!!! not one 5 spot. They seem like they have really have them tight. All us regular players are not happy. Usually do pretty well. Not lately. Hope to hear from you. Would like to try your system and see my luck change!! Been trying on the free site at least I can do better there. lol

    Regards

  4. is the 7 spot chart something different from the video? when people are requesting it? I have used some of the videos you posted but thought perhaps the 7 spot “chart” was something else. if not I will still practice on videopoker where I have been playing for a few years now. As mentioned in your mystic gambler comments section, here in Mesquite it has been very bad. It has to tell you something when you play a bank of 8 machines and can NOT hit a 5 spot on 20 card which is what I play most of the time. All summer it was pretty good. Us locals are blaming it on the snowbirds returning. lol When you send the charts is it up to us to pick our own numbers? do you give any examples? thanks for the help and the reply i will keep you posted hopefully with pics of big wins!!!

    • Odds of hitting the seven spot are more than 1 in 40,000. But you’re right about those 5 spots. I wonder where they went?

    • You should have received an email if there was a major update. Minor updates are made, usually just correcting typos and such, without notification. So you should be good. There is an update coming before the end of the year that will be interesting though. You’ll be notified.

    • A base number is a group of keno number selections. It is larger than target spot. Generally (but not always) it would be larger by two numbers. As an example, if you’re looking to get a 3 spot, your base number would consist of five numbers.

  5. How do I pick my base numbers, I purchased your 20spot charts and want to do the 5 spots, I do not get the base numbers ?

    • Hi Jeff,
The base numbers are numbers of your choosing. You will be choosing more numbers than your target spot and the charts will reduce and evenly distribute the spots to play on the individual cards. In your case you can select 7 numbers (or 6). In the pages that precede the charts, you can read about ways to do that. For example, I prefer to stay within a quadrant when I go for the 5 spot. You might have certain patterns that you like or a certain area of the keno board that you prefer. But the base numbers are your selections. The chart takes over from there. Good luck. And may the big wins be yours!

  6. Thats so funny. I just commented on one of your ytube videos about this. I have been playing 4 card keno. Card 1…1,2,12. Card 2…2,12,11. Card 3…12,11,1. Card 4…11,1,2. I have been in the profit on every site Ive tried it on, but Im sure once I try it in Vegas, it wont work for crap lol. Thanks for your advice and videos, and can you please test my 4 card system and let me know how you do? Like I said, I havent lost once on any of the free sites yet. On 2 of them, I have gone from $1000 to well over $100k by betting $10 per card. Thanks a million:)

  7. I just saw a guy play a 5 spot game here in Massachusetts and he bet $30 on one game and another $30 for the bonus which ended up being a 5x multiplier. The guy hit all 5 numbers, which ended up being $450 x 30 ($30) and then that amount times 5 (the other $30 he played, so the guy won $13,500 x 5= $67,500 on one game. I couldn’t believe it. It was just me and him in this store a lot of locals go to to play keno and socialize. I can’t believe he played $60 on one game especially on a 5 spot. Craziness…but good for him.

    • I’ve never seen a Keno machine that allows someone to bet $30 on one 5 spot. I believe the highest amount someone could bet on a $1 Keno machine is $4 per card.

      • You just mark the same spot, like 10 cards at $3 each, some people bet $80 on the same spots. Also I don’t think he was talking about 20 card keno.

    • I’ve been playing Keno at land based casinos for about 15 years and on-line for about 10 years. I’ve never found any on-line casino (playing for real $’s) that offers mult-card Keno, e.g. 4 card or 20 card. They just don’t exist and I’ve signed up and played at over 100 on-line casinos. The majority only offer single card Keno or no Keno. You can go to several on-line sites by downloading the software in the App Store and play Game King Keno for free to test your strategies…but that’s it!

  9. are there any casinos in las vegas, downtown area that offers the 20 card games? I have been playing an app and have not lost so am going to vegas to try it out. a friend just told me he could not find the multi card game in the downtown area.

I am willing to share it if it works for real money, and maybe start up a team. do you think it is a worthwhile venture?

    • I can’t think of a casino in LV or Reno that does not have 20 card Keno. Some have them for 1c, 5c, 25c. If you have been playing an app you are probably getting better then LV adds. So try your system on the penny machine first. AND CHECK THE PAYOUTS ON EVERY KENO MACHINE YOU PLAY!!!! I have seen 4 spots on machines that pay 40 to 1, the “new normal” is 91 to 1 but there are still machines out there that pay the original 110 to 1 on a 4 spot. 20 play machines are always lower but don’t play anything less then 91 to 1. The only place I have seen that pays 100 or 110 to 1 on a 20 play machine is in Laughlin, Nv. Hope this helps
